Surface Preparation

- All steel surfaces were manually abraded using wire brushes and abrasive paper to remove rust and create a suitable profile for the primer.

Application of UPS 908 MP METAL PRIMER

- The prepared steel surfaces were primed with UPS 908 MP, applied by brush and roller. This primer provided a strong base layer that protected the steel from corrosion.

Application of UPS 509 UVST UV STABLE TOPCOAT

- After an overnight cure, the primer was over-coated with UPS 509 UVST. This topcoat was applied by brush and roller, providing a durable finish that was resistant to UV degradation. The product was supplied in various colours to distinguish different applications, enhancing both the protection and the aesthetic of the steelwork.
