Surface Preparation

- The substrate was abraded using floor blasting equipment to remove loose material and create a clean surface for the repair and coating application.

Repair with UPS 813 EQS EPOXY QUARTZ SCREED

- Missing grout and cracked tiles were repaired using UPS 813 EQS, which provided a strong and durable repair to restore the integrity of the floor.

Priming with UPS 909 PP POROUS PRIMER

- The repaired floor was then primed with UPS 909 PP. Where necessary, a glass fiber was incorporated into the primer to bridge and seal smaller cracks, ensuring a smooth and stable surface.

Application of UPS 407 EN EPOXY NOVOLAC

- The surface was protected with two coats of UPS 407 EN, applied by brush and roller to achieve a total nominal dry film thickness of 800 microns. This final coating provided robust protection against chemical exposure, ensuring the long-term durability of the floor.
