UNIQUE POLYMER SYSTEMS provided a comprehensive repair and protection solution using UPS 505 WAU, UPS 821 FFP, and UPS 909 PP. The application process involved the following steps:

Surface Preparation:

- The top layer of degraded concrete was removed through blasting and grinding, ensuring a clean and stable surface for the repair materials.

Concrete Repair with UPS 821 FFP FASTFILL PLUG

- The damaged sections of the concrete were repaired using UPS 821 FFP, which provided a quick-setting and durable repair to restore the integrity of the tank. 

Priming with UPS 909 PP POROUS PRIMER

- The entire surface was primed with UPS 909 PP to ensure proper adhesion of the subsequent protective coating.

Application of UPS 505 WAU WRAS APPROVED URETHANE

- Two coats of UPS 505 WAU were applied using brush and roller techniques, with each coat applied at a thickness of 350 microns. This final coating provided robust protection against water leakage and ensured the long-term durability of the overflow tank.

The application of UPS 505 WAU, combined with the comprehensive repair process, successfully sealed the swimming pool overflow tank, preventing further water loss and degradation.
