Surface Preparation
- The existing coating on the tanks was pressure washed to remove any loose material and contaminants. This method allowed for minimal surface preparation while still ensuring adequate adhesion of the new coating.
Application of UPS 510 UN UNI-NOX
- Two coats of UPS 510 UN were applied to the prepared surfaces using brush, roller, and airless spray techniques where possible. Each coat was applied to achieve a total nominal dry film thickness of 500 microns, providing robust protection against UV and environmental damage.
