Unique Polymer Systems Epoxy Metal Repair UPS 19060 SG (also  SGUW the underwater version) is specially packaged rapid curing synthetic metal repair compound for on site repairs to metal components such as leaking pipes, tanks,ducts,radiators etc.


Product Features

 

Simple to use,only requiring simple hand mixing to activate reaction between the concentrically packed components.

Designed for application by gloved hand, putty knife or spatula.

Can be applied to any damaged metal surface, plus glass,fibreglass and other composite surfaces.

Designed for rapid repairs tcracked casting, leaking pipes, tanks, flanges etc minimising down-time.

Exhibits excellent adhesion to correctly prepared metal surfaces.

General Application Steps

1. Remove oil, grease and loosely adhering deposits.

2. Abrade by appropriate means to create a coarse profile.

3. Apply Epoxy Metal Repair  UPS 19600 to the required thickness.

4. Allow to cure.
5. Visually inspect the system for defects.
6. Repair any defects.
7. Carry out machining as required.

Product Description

 

UPS 240 HG  has been specifiacally developed as a 100% solids ceramic reapair system for resurfacing equipment subject to severe abrasion.

 

 


 

Product Features

• Can be used on any surface.

• Is suitable for use as a filler as well as an adhesive.

• Developed for repairs where difficult adhesion conditions exist.


 

General Application Steps

1. All loose material, rust and surface contaminants must be removed.

2. Roughen the surface using an angle grinder, needle gun or abrasive blasting.

3. Apply the product to the surface.

Tape Specifications
 Glass tape is made to DIN 61854•Material of WARP and WEFT is woven from poly-glass yarn to EC 9-34 tex PPG 1383/VetrotexTD22, which will blend with the resin & hardener to provide proper strength and physical properties. 
This glass has a better rating against ageing from contact high UV exposure compare with other 
tapes
The tape supplied is woven to a WARP of 20 yards/cm and WEFT 10 x 2 yarns/cm

UPS 2006 LPRK Large Pipe Repair Kit has been designed to put all products required to repair any size pipe.

The UPS 2006 LPRK will also protect worn pipes where the wall thickness has been compromised. Can also be used for Off Shore protection to immersed legs and support structures.

  • By utilizing UPS 19000 RH Resin & Hardener in conjuction with UPS 19007/9/11 GT Glass TApe - Immediate and cost effective repairs can be carried out.

  • The finished repair can seal effectively after only 5 minutes with full cure after 30 minutes.

UPS 19002/3 A&B Cement is a high performance, two pack, solvent free epoxy repair system for use on metallic surfaces. UPS 19002/3 A&B Cement is ideal for application where only minimal surface preparation can be carried out and is usally used in conjunction with UPS 19000 RH Standard Resin & Hardener.

UPS 240 HD Heavy Duty Ceramic240-HighAbrasionSystem-MED

UPS 240 HD Heavy Duty Ceramic is a high performance abrasion resistant ceramic repair compound specfically developed for use where resistance to sliding abrasion is required. It is based on a complex epoxy resins and polyamineo-amid curing system reinforced with carbide and ceramic particles to produce a coating with a high level of adhesion, abrasion and erosion resistance combined with optimum physical and mechanical strength.

In addition, it has excellent adhesion to most metallic surfaces in one easy application and offers outstanding protection to chutes, hoppers, pipe elbows, chippers, valves, pumps and equipment subject to aggressive attack from dry solids and slurries.
