Next the entire surface can then be protected with a high performance top coat. The appropriate top coat depends on the operating environment of the equipment. For example:

UPS 205 FG FLUID GRADE CERAMIC is used for the majority of pumping environments. This two part ceramic reinforced lining has excellent abrasion and erosion resistance to wide range of operating conditions.

UPS 210 CR EFFICIENCY FLUID CERAMIC is used to enhance the flow rate of pump equipment. This two part ceramic reinforced lining has a high level of silicone carbide which provides a very smooth finish. Ideal for clean water applications and heat exchangers.

UPS 225 HT HIGH TEMPERATURE CERAMIC is perfect for environments operating at higher temperatures; capable of withstanding 130°C full immersed conditions.

UPS 519 HD HEAVY DUTY CERAMIC is used for extremely abrasive environments such as sludge pumps and slurry chutes.

Why UPS Pump Refurbishment?

UPS 105 EG THISTLEBOND METAL REPAIR PASTE is used as an all-purpose repair composite for exchangers. Mainly used on end covers, tube sheets, flanges face and water boxes. Two part solvent free epoxy which is highly machinable once cured.

UPS 200 EG CERAMIC REPAIR PASTE can be used in areas that are subject to high levels of erosion and corrosion due to its ceramic reinforced epoxy base.

UPS 115 XL EXTENDED LIFE METAL can be used when longer working life is required. It is also especially good in hotter climates.

UPS 205 FG FLUID GRADE CERAMIC is the top coat of choice for the majority of applications. It has a wide operating temperature, along which outstanding resistance to erosion and corrosion. When higher temperatures are required, UPS 225 HT HIGH TEMPERATURE CERAMIC would be considered the better option. And finally when protection is require from high temperatures and chemical attack, UPS 226 HAC HIGH ACID CERAMIC is a unique top coat which has been developed for these types of environments.
