UPS THISTLEBOND EMERGENCY PIPE REPAIR BANDAGE is a high-performance, ultra-strong solution for sealing leaking pipework instantly with minimal surface preparation (SSPC SP2 Hand Tool Cleaning or SP3 Power Tool Cleaning). It features a single-component polyurethane resin impregnated knitted fiberglass bandage, boasting over 52% resin content and requiring no specialised training or equipment for application.

This innovative product utilises water-activated resin that quickly solidifies, providing robust reinforcement and refurbishment for deteriorated pipes. Application is simple: Activate the wrap by immersing it in water, then apply it to the targeted pipe or structure. With a rapid working window of 2-5 minutes and functional curing achieved within 30-45 minutes, it's suitable for high-pressure systems up to 30 bar and temperatures of up to 160°C.

Once cured, the bandage forms a durable, chemically inert shield, enhancing wall thickness, pressure resilience, and resistance to corrosion and chemicals. Available in various sizes, it accommodates repairs across pipes of all diameters and is compatible with a wide range of materials, including steel, copper, GRP, and more.

WRAS Approval (BS6920-1:2000) ensures its safety for use in pipes conveying potable water, making it are reliable solution for diverse repair needs, even underwater.
